Eczema on our Little Girl πππ
Our little one is 5 months old, and she is going through some rough eczema journey (which we hope would end soon) π€π»
We tried hydrocortisone, and after using it, seems like she progressed to having more eczema spots. Then used an antibiotic because of the weeping (she had it on both cheeks), stopped after 7 days, then another flare up. Was prescribed a combination of steroid + antibiotic to treat it for 10 days, seemed to make it even worse. π Called her doctor again, will be referring us to a paediatric dermatologist, and recommended we change baby's formula since she might have cow's milk allergy.
This eczema hasn't given little one much rest ππ any mama out there who went through this? any natural remedies besides the steroid? what moisturizers are you using? how did you deal with it? Is this TSW (Topical Steroid Withdrawal)
Thank you so much for taking the time to read through our situation and leaving a recommendation or suggestion, or just sharing your story β€οΈ
On top of this eczema, we are also dealing with cradle cap π© Her temple areas are the ones with the most flakes. They would be gone after a bath (we rub coconut oil to loosen it), but comes back as dry scales still.
