Depo shot for those who are obese with pcos?

I’m trying to find a good birth control option. I’m obese and have pcos. My cycles are insanly heavy. So heavy I can’t function wile on my cycle. Any tips would be amazing!! I have not tried birth control in 12 years so everything is new!

Don’t go with the depo. I mostly hear stories about 6 month long periods. Talk to your doctor for the best birth control for you

Everyone i know including myself has gained weight and struggled to lose it whilst on the depo shot. 
Weight gain and irregular bleeding are the 2 most common side effects. 
Other side effects i got was no sex drive, depressed, anxiety, i was irritable and snappy for no apparent reason, i was constantly tired to the point of falling asleep. I had wild mood swings. I had no bleeding til i missed a shot then i bled heavy and had painful cramps for 3 weeks then nothing for another 4 months.

I had no periods on deposit the weight gain was horrible, eventually I stopped gaining but I couldn't lose anything either.
