There are some very effective treatments that for some reason have not made the general market as yet... Treatments that they investigated like 10+ years ago already. So I don't think they'll ever find a CURE, but they will continue to develop different kinds of treatments to better fight it.

There is not a single cure for cancer and there will never be, every cancer is different, hence why it is so hard to cure. However, targeted therapies might be possible cures, but they are being worked on now. If they don’t fully cure the specific cancer it targets, it will extend time expectancy so much that eventually the person will die from something else while having a quality of life.

I can only pray. Cancer is common in my family, I remember watching my mom suffer from it and it was heartbreaking.

Cancer is a very broad term for a variety of issues. We are working on it every day, and have a lot of really good options. With the personalization of medicine exploding, there will be incredibly effective treatments available. It’s just a matter of being able to figure out exactly which pathways to target at what check points to inhibit growth and mutation.

I can’t stand the theory that there’s a cure they’re hiding from us🙄 like no, they’re not THAT cruel. 
I don’t think there will be a cure for cancer because there’s not really any way to stop a cellular mutation from happening until it has already happened. I do think our treatments have gotten much better, people have a much better chance of living now and things will only get better!
