Itchy nipples

My nipples itch and I breastfeed and pump. Should I dump the milk since it might be thrush? And will my babies pediatrician give me medicine or do I have to go to a obgyn ( I had a midwife during my pregnancy and don’t know if I should tell the midwife or if they will prescribe me medicine
