Pacifier
Hi. My daughter is 5 weeks old and hated taking her binky before but Now she likes it when fussy and can’t fall asleep without it. She doesn’t wake up or cry when binky falls out of her mouth to put back in after she is deep asleep and I am trying not to always give it to her if she is not crying for it.
Well, what happened was she was grunting, making sounds and moving around like uncomfortable after feeds. I thought she was hungry and kept giving her milk but she was throwing it out of her mouth. She wanted to suck on the nipple. So I gave her a binky now she wants it after most feeds. This is only few days old. I can’t believe she became so dependent on it in few days. Anyone else going through the same and worried that their baby will be attached to the binky?
I want to know if it’s healthy and the habit can be changed if need be?
