I have three kids who’ve never had more than one set of stitches. They play outside, climb trees, bike, blade, skate, swim and trampoline.. you name it. They don’t live in a bubble at all and we aren’t really the baby proofing type (besides of course outlets and locked chemicals/meds) ..

well anyways, my kids get hurt but nothing ever major and I always felt it was because we didn’t shelter them or helicopter and they just learned to live with risks around... and now I have this fourth who is literally trying to walk at almost 9 months and has bumped his noggin more than all my other kids combined... today he took a pretty bad spill when I literally turned to set my coffee up high and he hit his face on our wood coffee table. 😭

So to say the least, I’ve been pretty humbled by him and just ordered some bumpers for corners and a leather ottoman to move our wood coffee table out 🤦🏼‍♀️ .. so heartbroken that this happened and I was sitting right there! Ugh gunna be a little bruiser trying to keep up with his siblings.
