My older daughter was VERY verbal as a young baby so it’s so hard not to compare my son to her. He is just 10 months old and barley started making noises other than da da da. I was worried to, but all of a sudden it seems like over night he has a ton of new noises. I agree with waiting to worry a little longer. And then even if there is something going on there really is nothing to “worry” about. (Which is way easier said than done) I always keep in mind that they are who they are going to be and if at some point my kiddos need something like speech or other interventions we get them what they need and work through it.

Don’t read into that stuff at such a young age. All you will do is drive yourself. I speak from personal experience, and am not the mother of a child who was speaking in full sentences well before she was 2.

This is my poll. I’m just a wreck because I have a 7 year old with autism and my mind is all over the place. Google is really a scary place. Smh. He’s doing this wrist and hand turning gesture for about a week now as well

My daughter was pretty quiet at that age. She was more interested in crawling and rolling. Now she is 18 months and never stops babbling and singing and she repeats everything. Just keep up with regular well baby visits and your doctor will let you know if there is a concern.
