When to announce your pregnancy ?

Welp. After my first scan today, I am so extremely excited.. I just want to yell it to the whole world.. 
I am 7w4d today.
My husband and I were thinking about announcing to our closest family members this weekend. 
When did y’all announce? Is it too early?

We told our family at 12 weeks with this pregnancy, I couldn’t wait any longer. But we told them at 5 weeks with our second since it was Christmas. The one pregnancy I didn’t share I lost at 6 weeks and was happy I didn’t have to tell people until I was ready. So it’s hard to say what’s too early and what’s not

I already announce mine at 6 weeks with positive pregnancy test I don't like the idea of keeping my babies a secret no matter how far they all deserve celebrated

With my older daughter, we told out family at 20 weeks only and never announced anything. With this baby, I told everyone straight away and figured out that if something meant to happen it can happen any time. I announced on Facebook only when I was around 30 weeks though as I’ve posted Xmas photo of the family. 
Just different moods, I guess.

We waited until 12 weeks with my parents(local) and 16 weeks for his parents(we visited). We posted on social media around 18 weeks as well as notifying my boss.
