Has anyone ever taken the Flu shot and Tdap shot at the same time while pregnant?

My job is trying to force me to come in and take both the flu shot and the tdap shot at the same time, which is super annoying because I work from home. I am 16 weeks pregnant and just concerned about taking two shots at once. Has anyone had to do this? I am calling my OB to discuss it in the morning but wanted to see if anyone else had this happen?

Ummm..OBs don't recommend the tdap until later, because the whole point is to transfer some immunity to baby after they're born. I'd tell your employer yes to the flu shot but they can wait until your doctor gives you the tdap.

I got tdap much later; maybe even 30 weeks.

Get the flu (if you want) and delay the TDap till the third trimester.
It’s generally fine to get the both together but it’s annoying to have both arms sore at the same time.

I took both at the same time BUT I was already due for TDAP being 32 weeks and it was still flu season here in California. I’d ask your obgyn for a paper for work because the whole point of tdap is to pass on immunity to the baby. That’s why they suggest last trimester

I don't see why you'd be worried about this? Get the shots whenever recommended, and rest assured that you're doing everything you can to stay healthy 🤷
