Clomid/Femvue/IUI - advice needed
Hi ladies,
I took 50mg Clomid for 5 days and went to the doctor today to get a Femvue test (check my Fallopian tubes aren’t clogged). My cervix was too tight that the doctor had to stop the procedure. I couldn’t tolerate the pain and gave up. She said I can take Tylenol prior to next time we do this. Apparently, you can only do one round of

without checking the Fallopian tubes as that could be preventing me from getting pregnant.
Anyways, I got a positive OPK today and they think I’m gonna ovulate this weekend and want to do
IUI
on Friday. They said the pain level is gonna be similar to today’s procedure.
I’m really scared. I cried today bc it hurt a lot down there and cramping was severe too.
If you have done

, can you please share some tips on how I can get through this? Thanks for your help in advance.
2/12 Update: Looks like I am not quite ready to ovulate although my OPKs are positive for a few days, so IUI is happening on Sunday. My follicles are about 1.7cm and it needs to be above 1.9. Also, my lining is still thin- it needs to be at 7-8mm, and I’m currently about 5-6mm.
I have to inject HCG tomorrow. Thank goodness, I’m doing this over the long weekend because I wasn’t emotionally or physically ready. I’m still spotting from the Femvue test (attempt). The doc recommended 600mg of ibuprofen prior to doing IUI. Also, they will give me a medicine next time if I have to retry Femvue.
