Do you need to pay for photos that came out bad?

I took 30 photos and I only like about 10 from all of them. Even those need to be edited and have lots of glare to them. 
The photos are $350 & honestly came out bad. Is it wring to only pay for the ones you like? I need a professional to edit them anyway.

350 and editing isnt included? I’d probably ask for a reshoot or something, see if they can fix the ones I don’t like with some software. It shouldn’t cost 350 just to take the picture

No. I wouldn’t pay for something that expensive if it’s poor quality. Not at all

You need to review the contract and inquire about a reshoot. Do they match the photographers portfolio/previous work? 
Additionally, are they providing RAW files or jpgs? If they are not RAW files having another professional edit them will be worthless. 
Photographers are not very lenient about reshoots or refunds so proceed with caution. It is also very odd that they did not edit or outsource for editing themselves. 
Personally I would try for a full or partial refund and find a different photographer. Be careful asking for a full refund, review the contract to make sure you did not pay a retainer for the shoot, as those are typically non refundable and the photographer will not budge.

If you used their services, you have to pay for them. This isn’t like buying a shirt you didn’t like and returning it, they are billing for their time, which they gave you. Not sure where you live but $350 for a shoot is not bad. You agreed to the service. Most photographers don’t offer refunds.
Always review their portfolio in detail and always read the contract.
