So my husband is into gaming and talks so much about how he wishes he had a gaming chair because he sits on a little ottoman that hurts his back so for Valentine’s I bought him a gaming chair , red white and blue because he loves anything that represents the American flag and it’s his favorite gaming team colors so I’m like cool he’s gonna love it , it came in early and he seen the box so I let him open it , and we’re putting it together and some parts aren’t fitting and then he starts about how its fucking hideous anyway

, to never buy him anything again , and it’s not even the right shade of blue and red so it looks like the French flag which he hates apparently and he feels insulted that I should know him better by now so he returned the gift I bought him . I’m literally in tears and so upset because I wanted him to love it , I wanted to see his face light up with excitement to something he really wanted but nope ..... I want to just punch him in the face so hard .

Update : so he returned it and now is playing games in the ottoman, so bad just want to kick it out from underneath him or throw it out tomorrow and be like🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ guess you should of kept the chair , he’s “sorry” and shouldn’t of taken it out on me he was just upset that he couldn’t figure out how to put it together , boy fucking bye , I’m so angry you just don’t do that , so disrespectful.
