I went to the ER today for vaginal bleeding as pictured below along with pelvic cramps. It started happening yesterday and got darker today, so I wanted to be safe. They said my HCG levels were 200 something, which is way up from 17 like they were 9 days ago. They did an ultrasound, but didn’t see anything in my uterus. The doctor said that could be normal because I’m only 5 weeks, but she also said it could be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. What do you guys think? I think it may be possible that I’m less than 5 weeks because my period is so irregular, which would explain the low HCG and blank ultrasound, but I’m also worried because the blood is fairly dark. It hasn’t bled onto my pad. I only see it when I wipe. I’m just really scared. Please help.
