Does 19 follicles on day 3 indicate PCOS or can that be normal?

PCOS or can that be normal?" /> 
My AMH was 3.4
My FSH was 4.8 
She said I’m normal but someone told me that was a lot of follicles for day 3..and now I’m worried . Do these numbers look like PCOS?

I’m assuming you’re meaning ivf and not anything else? With ivf you take FSH, some women respond quickly and well like you have and others don’t. 19 follicles is great but at day 3 they aren’t going to be big and ready for retrieval. Give it time abd have an open mind. The 19 need to all be the right size to get ready for retrieval. They may contain mature eggs and they may not and they may also contain one or even 2 eggs. What matters really is how many follicles are mature at retrieval and even then it doesn’t always dictate his baby eggs you get. What really matters is how many embryos you get ready for transfer abd the results vary between women. Good luck!
