I swear my daughter doesn't pick what she really wants, and feels she has to pick what my mom thinks she likes. She's only 5.

Like my daughter loves dinos, rocks, Spiderman, animals. Those things like never change.

She has a very hard time picking toys or things when my mom is around. It's like she too worry what my mom thinks.

I've always encourage her to pick things she likes, or show her toys I know she likes. Yet idk maybe it's some kind of anxiety, she has around her.

My boyfriend and me took her to a learning center and let her pick things she wanted. We pick a few learning toys too. She picked mostly dinosaurs, and rocks.

I hate it seems my daughter is scare to be herself in ways. My mom has really messed her up by not letting me parent when we lived with her.

She use to love books but my mom rather hand her a tablet or phone most of the time. She finally slowly getting back into books again.
