So I have a small little side business and wanted some nice pictures for Instagram. The photographer I talked to understood what I wanted but the pictures are just not what I showed him. I feel bad because he is new & young & very excited starting his portfolio but I am not happy with how anything came out. My friends & family said the same thing & said I shouldn’t pay for any of it. Well.. kinda a lot of money considering this is what I put into my savings account usually. The pictures aren’t terrible. They’re pretty good! Just not what I want for my brand at all. He’s worked so hard and I don’t know how to tell him I don’t like his work? It was a lot to do with the lighting he took it in and it can’t be fixed. So what do I do? Do I pay him for his labor? Do I pay the thing in full & throw my money? Do I not pay? Help 😫 I feel so bad turning someone down when they worked so hard. I’m kinda stuggling myself and idk of giving someone close to $400 is worth it. Advice pls 😣 Hes such a sweet guy & that makes me feel even more bad lol

Update: I actually had him change it many times but he couldn’t really get at what I wanted at all. I kinda got the Walmart version of what I wanted. Kinda can’t change it 😂 also, I didn’t pay him yet.
