Getting pregnant on bc

Is there such a thing as being so fertile that birth control fails? I've gotten pregnant while using condoms and on the pill, I was using them correctly. When we ttc baby no 3 I got a bfp the first month trying. We want four but we want to wait at least two years before ttc again. I know the only way to 100% not get pregnant is abstinence but we're not realistically going to have no sex for two years. In your opinion what birth control works best for you?
