I love my boyfriend dearly, but recently, video games has been a big issue.

I’ve tried to be understanding and like relate because I think him playing video games is his coping mechanism for all this, but it’s just getting out of hand.

We usually FaceTime during our Spanish class since we have it together, but this morning he was playing video games during class too. We were talking and he says “hey did you see that video I sent you this morning?” But he didn’t send me any video so I told him that, and he said “no no I’m not talking to you im talking to Austin (his friend who he plays with)”

That made me feel kinda crappy, but what made me feel worse is that then i heard Austin through my bf’s headset saying “lmao she wants too much attention but we both know you love me more, that’s why you’re coming to my house this weekend and not spending Valentine’s with her”

He wasn’t trying to be mean or anything and I’ve never talked to him myself so I don’t know how sense of humor, but hearing how my bf laughed and didn’t defend me really hurt my feelings.

I haven’t seen him in months and it just made me really upset
