Received job offer at 7 months pregnant . When should I disclose pregnancy ?

Hi family !
I am in a dilemma and want to know when to disclose my pregnancy to my employer . Should I tell HR now or just talk to my manager after I join in a couple of weeks .
I am worried that if I disclose to the HR now, they might use an excuse and revoke the offer 😩😩😩 
Don’t know what to do !!

It would be illegal for them to revoke the job offer because you’re pregnant. That’s discrimination and you could sue them for it. 
Since you’re so far along, I would recommend disclosing it sooner rather than later because in the next month or so you may need to prepare for maternity leave and get paperwork started. It’s up to you if you want to do that now or wait until you officially start work.

Definitely now lol. How did you make it through the interview process without them knowing you’re pregnant that far along? Also at least in the US, it’s illegal for them to revoke the job offer for pregnancy, but they should be aware that in two months you’ll be out of the office for 6+ weeks.

Assuming you were pregnant during the interview process right? I think it’s fair to tell them sooner rather than later. They are now counting on you and sounds like you’ll be leaving very shortly after start date. Right thing to do would be to let them know so they can start planning what to do while you’re on leave.

Itd be illegal for them to pull out because of pregnancy-- however, if you are not the only candidate it can also be pretty hard to prove. Honestly if i were in this situation id accept the offer and immediately after or a short while later (if theres a trial period) disclose that im due on xxx day to HR or whoever i report to.
Sure you should be honest (and who says you arent if it doesn't impact your work?!), but you also gotta look out for yourself 🤷

Depends on the type of job. If you're wanting maternity leave and they don't need you immediately, maybe they'd prefer to bring you after your leave? If you were earlier I would say wait, but they may be annoyed if they basically get you trained and out of their probation period and then you have to go on leave right away
