Weeks or months?

How do you count months? Like Oct 30-Dec 30 is one month old or do you count it by weeks? 4 weeks is a month old, 16 weeks is 4 months old etc...really confused lol no wonder people just say how many weeks old their babies are 😅

It's both, so my daughter was born Nov 1st and turned 3 months on Feb 1st but she was 13 weeks + 1 day

I usually say by the month but this month Idk what to do bc my baby was born on 9/30 and there are only 28 days this month 🤣🤣

I count  by the date not the weeks since most months are technically 4.5weeks anyway....

I’ve been confused too! Every 4 weeks I’ve been saying months. So my daughter was born on 14th October she was 16 weeks on the 3rd of Feb so I was thinking she’s 4 month old, when really she’s not 4 months old until 14th of Feb really. 
I think you need to start transitioning into months by the date from 2 months. Otherwise they’re 1st birthday would not be match up. It’s not technically at 52 weeks. There is not the same about of weeks in each month. 
I’m going to start going by the date not the weeks.
Although my daughter is over 17 weeks old now, she’s technically not 4 months yet🥴

Both my LO was born 11/04 and turned 3months 2/04 right  now is 3months 1W(13weeks )
