Has anyone else received this?

I am high risk to preterm labor as my last baby was born between 33/34 weeks and his lungs were under developed.

I am currently 34 weeks today. I had my drs appointment this last Tuesday where they hooked me up and did a nst. Which showed consistent contractions. My dr checked my cervix and found I am 2cm dilated and 60-70% effaced. He sent us over to the hospital to be monitored as well as get the first round of shots of the Betamethasone to help his lungs develop faster. We had to do two shots 24 hours apart. They are already effective but won’t be fully in effect until Friday night. They told me they would like to get 7 more days to make sure he gets all of the benefits of the steroid shots.
