Is lifting heavy objects while pregnant dangerous?

I work in a warehouse and have to move pallets and drums ( drums varying from 140-220lbs) daily. Will that cause harm during a pregnancy?

Answer

Usually the general rule is that if you were doing it prior to being pregnant it’s fine to continue doing it. However, if there are complications then that is different. I would ask your doctor for sure. That is pretty heavy lifting but women continue working out and some lift very heavy. I would say if you do it and it causes you discomfort then stop.
