If i have a yeast infection can I use diaper rash cream?
YES I am being treated by a doctor and I am getting better but I am currently getting rid of the worst yeast infection I’ve ever had. I even have cream from the doctor that’s antifungal.
This yeast infection was in my vagina and on my vulva all on the outside so I needed to treat both.
This cream irritates the yeast infection of course because it’s fighting the yeast.
Okay so in between my inner labia, right above my urethra is so raw.
The cream hurts that spot so bad. It’s what makes peeing hell. And I want to put diaper rash cream on it to keep my pee from hitting it if that makes sense. To protect the skin so it can heal. Like you would do for a baby in a diaper.
I figured if this stuff is safe to put on a baby, it should be safe to use on me right?
But after what I just went through, I am not about to do anything that makes me lose progress in this freaking BATTLE with this yeast infection. My doctor even said “oh my gosh” when he saw it.
It got so bad at one point I had bloody discharge and I finally went to the doctor and it’s not BV, just a severely bad yeast infection that didn’t show symptoms until it was a raging monster. This yeast infection made me physically ill.
If you’ve seen my posts, I am feeling better. A LOT BETTER, like I wanted to perish. Constant pain and burning and itching to the point I had to sit on an ice pack and in order to sleep I had to sleep naked on a towel with an ice cold rag on my vulva.
But it still hurts to pee and I just would like relief from that. So I want to use diaper rash cream that’s for babies.
