Question

My grandfather passed away I miss him so much I wake up and I can't believe he's not physically here it's so hard. I feel so sad
How do you cope when someone you love passes away?
How do you heal if you didn't call see them before they passed away.

Answer

So my grandfather lived about an hour or so away so we rarely saw them before he died. And to boot, I missed his last call and forgot to all him back. But I'm confirmed knowing that he loved us, REALLY loved us even though we weren't his grandchildren by blood. He was so proud of everything that he did and he had an amazing sense of humour. It's been three years since he died and it's still very sad when I think about him, I can't listen to half my favourite songs anymore because they were also his and they just make me cry, but he was also suffering terribly and it just makes it easier knowing he's not battling anymore.
