Clomid and twins?

What are the chances of taking clomid and got pregnant with twins? Anyone experienced this?

It does increase your chances but not by a huge amount - I think you still have like a 90% chance of having a singleton, if it even works for you at all. I took letrozole and did end up having twins so it can happen, but more than likely it won’t.

I don’t remember what our fertility specialist told us the percentage is that it increases your chances of twins, but it’s still a really small chance. I had two eggs release when I took it and had a singleton pregnancy

Identical twins are cometely random and can happen to anyone one egg was fertilized by 2 sperm. Fraternal twins run down the mothers side of the family and you are predisposed to release 2 eggs. 
How comid plays into that I do not know. But fyi ! because a lot of people don't know this and it urks me!
