I’ve been hooking up with this guy for 6 months now. We are really close and talk everyday and see each other quite often. Initially when we started talking it took a long time for him to make a move because he was afraid to be turned down and wanted to be sure I was into him.

Fast forward to last night, during sex he looked me in my eyes and asked me if I love him. Usually during sex we talk dirty but it has never reached to such an intimate point like it did last night.

I said yes then he asked me again in a happy and surprised tone. Then he told me to say it to him.

I have feelings for him but I never considered whether I “love” him.

Do you think he asked during sex to test the waters and see how I’d respond or was it just sex talk in the moment ?
