Where do I start?? Well I was showing signs of preeclampsia at my visit Wednesday so OB decided to induce at 8pm Thursday.

When I arrived I was 4cm 50% effaced. I kind of waited around for a while doing paperwork and preparing admissions stuff before we settled in. All this time I'm having super strong contractions on the monitor that I dont even feel honestly. Everybody was shocked.

Then came the infamous covid test. Dude I was being such a baby about it even though I wasnt because it was such a violation to my nose. Ugh! Well after that I had to wait for the results to be able to start the induction. Thankfully they were negative and we started with the cytotec to thin my cervix out some more before starting pitocin.

After 4 hours I was now 6cm and 60% effaced still not feeling anything. We started pitocin and I tried to take a nap while I waited for things to ramp up.

Around 7:40 I started feeling tr he contractions a bit more. Very bearable really just felt like tightening for a bit then it would calm. Well I felt like a kick or pop and about 5 minutes later my water just started coming out. Slow and then every contraction more and more came out. I sat up because things felt like they were real. I decided to get up and stand for a while as they changed the bedding. I never sat back down. I just breathed through the pain and regretted the choice of having more kids at that point.

I asked to sit on one of those doctor swivel chairs because standing up was getting tiring. I hadn't slept much so my body was exhausted. Well not even 40 minutes later everything was progressing so much. They were asking about the epidural because I kept saying I wanted to go to sleep. Well too late for any of that because I was already in transition and baby was coming. I finally just sat on the bed and 2 minutes later he started crowing. My OB didn't even make it to the room or the on call doctor. It was just me and the nurses and a resident to deliver. Everything happened so quick. He just started coming and fast. I didn't get a chance for any pain medication which is a relief because I really wanted to go all natural for my last baby. I did learn I coearly have a high pain tolerance because labor all in all was a Breeze.

Now my chunky 11lb baby are resting. Good luck with all your deliveries ladies. I'm signing off of this train forever. I refuse to push anything else out of this cooter.
