Copper toxicity

Danielle

I had a nightmare of an experience with my copper iud and I feel obligated to share.

I went with the copper option as I didn't want any hormones, especially being 3 months post partum. The year following was the worst year of my life. Depression, paranoia, fatigue, weight gain, suicidal thoughts etc etc. When I found other women online saying they suffered from copper toxicity I decided to just get it out in an attempt to try anything to feel better.

After being spoken to like a crazy person from the doctor at planned parenthood, she agreed to take it out. The strings broke and an ultrasound revealed that it was embedded in my uterus.

2 weeks later I had a very painful and traumatic procedure to get it removed and ALL of my symptoms vanished within a week (with the help of homeopathic medicine. )

These things literally steal years of women's mental health. If you feel depressed or Have anxiety with one, I highly recommend removing it, even just to see if it hwlps.
