When I went for my 28 week appointment last week, they said my son was measuring 94th percentile. Average weight at that point was 2.2 lbs and he measured around 3.4 lbs. Now I’m terrified I’m going to have a giant baby and end up with a c-section. My OB said they would do another growth u/s at 32 weeks to see how he’s growing. I’m hoping it was just a growth spurt. I don’t have GD. I was tested twice (most recently at that appt).

My first born was 8lb 2oz. So he was an average size and I had an easy delivery. Pushed him out in 30 minutes. I’m so scared of having to have a c-section because he’s too big. I’d rather be induced a little early maybe to have him vaginally. We just need to wait and see if he’s growing fast or what.

I know that weight guesses via ultrasound aren’t very reliable, especially the further we get, but I could tell by looking at him that he had a chubbier belly and face than my first.
