You don't need to put anything up inside your actual vagina, like in the hole. It's self cleaning. Clean the outside parts, your flaps/lips whatever you wanna call them lol with a good amount of water and yes you can use a very mild body wash, but nothing scented or with bits in it. If you have a bad smell that doesn't seem to be going away you need to see a doctor as it could be an infection. And don't confuse it with your natural smell or the smell of sweat down there after a warm day. A little bit of odour is to be expected at times just as long as isn't a really foul smell.

Do NOT use douche or soap. Your vagina has its natural way to clean its self. If it has a foul smell you need to see a doctor.

Use unscented soap to wash up. Dove unscented, dr. Bronners unscented, the honey pot sensitive formula.

It is self cleaning. You can clean the outer flaps but thats all. If there is an odour or alot of discharge thats not normal for you then its likely you have an infection and need to see a doctor

Your vagina (the inside) is self cleaning. You should not clean it in any way, including with water. Doing so can throw off your pH, leading to bad smells and infection. For your general pubic area, just water is perfectly fine. However, if you don’t feel clean after water, you can also use a sensitive unscented soap. There’s no need to buy the ones marketed specifically for women, they are huge wastes of money.
