I’m currently expecting baby 2. My first son is almost 2 in April. He still sleeps in his crib. He’s pretty content, doesn’t try to escape. He sleeps a good 12 hours in his crib with no issues.

I’m debating on if I should keep him in his crib and purchase a second crib for baby 2.. or if I should maybe start the transition to a toddler bed before baby comes? I don’t want my son to feel like his brother is taking his things but I would also hate to buy a second crib and my oldest be ready for a toddler bed before the baby is moved to the crib.
