My kids father chooses not to acknowledge our 2 kids (4&6) only when it’s convenient to him and the 15 minute visits they get every few months wouldn’t even be counted! He works out of town during the week and comes back on his paydays every Friday-Sunday. During the week, he will send me texts about wanting to see the kids, picking them up from school, taking them to the shops, and spends the rest of his free time sending me abusive texts. Once the weekend rolls around, it comes and goes with not 1 text or visit. Then repeats the cycle when he is back at work out of town. I’ve pointed it out to him isn’t it funny how he’ll pretend to care about the kids through the week and forget about them once he hits town, but it’s always me just being toxic and starting drama when it’s just me stating facts. He doesn’t make the time or effort for them so why would he care to pretend through the week? Has anyone had to deal with this crap before? I’m planning on ignore every text I receive from here from this weekend onwards! Thanks guys just needed to vent
