Hospital stay
Hey ladies, I finally gave in and rang hospital due to my hyperemesis (I am one of these people that has fear of going to doctors/hospital in case they tell me I am a time waster and nothing is wrong 😬) they got me into a&e straight away and said that I will need to be in for a minimum of 24 hours due to my dehydration being ‘off the scale’ was lucky I came in really....
But can I just say, they gave me Ondansetron through my canular and a bag of fluids and I’ve just been able to eat a jelly and some biscuits and hold down water without being sick (I maybe speaking too soon) but ahhhhhh omg my stomach feels so happy to just have something inside it atm 💗 Thankyou for ondansetron!!!! I hope they give me some in tablet form to take home with me. Still in till tomoro but ahhhh the relief of not feeling like I’m on a roundabout is just amazing 💗💗 I mean I know this could be because it’s the first time I’ve had it or they put it through my veins but to actually be able to enjoy eating something and drink a cup of water could almost make me cry! I was so helpless almost wishing to lose the baby because of how awful I felt and now I feel semi human 😁
Anyone had tablet form of ondansetron? Did it work as well as the fluid? Or should I expect to feel awful again soon 🤔
Sorry for the long post I am just so excited that I got to eat and have some water today 😁😁
