Cavities? In pain

Im so embarrassed because to be completely honest its been YEARS since I've seen a dentist. I've always been good about brushing, flossing, mouth wash etc.  Ever since I had kids my teeth have gone to hell...I cant get into a dentist yet but im just so scared and embarrassed of what they will say and think :(

More often than not cavities are not visible just like that... that’s why they take xrays. Unless you’ve let a tooth decay fully and it’s black you won’t see it. But it doesn’t mean you don’t have them. 
You need to go to a dentist and have a cleaning with xrays and full comp exam. I’ve worked at a dental office and it’s not something you ignore. Teeth should not be messed with or you’ll have more expensive and extensive work required.

Your teeth look great, but if you're in pain I think it might be time to go to the dentist whenever you can. They shouldn't judge you, it's their job

It looks like you at least have top wisdom teeth but I really don’t know. I had four wisdom teeth and a severe cavity removed after yearssss of excruciating pain and now it’s only a lil pain because they are moving back in place. Seriously it’s worth it I had to attend two appts (pre and surgery) and it was over with. Make one ASAP cuz the wait could be a month or so

Trust me, that’s nothing compared to what I’ve seen. As a dental assistant you see way way worse! Those are easy fixes so don’t be embarrassed. It happens. As long as you get them fix now before they get worse.

I just went through the same thing. They made me feel so comfortable. Like others said, theyve seen worse. Definitely go to the dentist because it will only get worse.

They are not going to get better and they are not judgmental it is their job and like a few other people have said they have seen worse I love 8 of my teeth to drugs and now have  top and bottom partials that cost over 5 grand (not including appointments and gas to get back and forth) so I should have gone sooner don't let it happen to you! Go sooner than later and appointments are hard to get so don't let it go to long

You definitely need a cleaning very badly. Can’t really tell if there’s cavities. You need an x-ray for that. A teeth cleaning at least would be money well spent.￼
