Well to me there is a big difference between a “boy” and a “man” and it doesn’t have to do with age. 
I’ve met plenty of decent men, and plenty of not decent ones...so no they’re not all shit. I can say the same about plenty of women I’ve met too, though lol.

only been in a relationship with ONE person that treated me like a queen and I ruined it. he’s doing really good now and is in a long term relationship and they’re expecting. so even my fuck ups didn’t ruin him and make him treat other women like shit. so no, not all.

All the men in my life are good men. When I was in labor with my third son, my husband, my brother, and my dad were all with me. My uncle came to the hospital later that day to see us. I am so thankful for all the strong male role models my boys have in their lives. They can't help but grow up to be good men, too.

First husband liked to put his hands on me. Bar was pretty low after that. Don't yell at me. No sudden movements. (I have PTSD and in the last 8 years I've done a lot of learning what really triggers it for me) Dont put hands on me. My second, and current, husband is wonderful. Never so much as raised his voice at me. Very aware of what triggers me and when the flashback nightmares start up again he does his best to just be there even though he can't physically comfort me because I can't be touched after having one of those nightmares. He knows it's not him and never takes it personally. He's never cheated. Nothing. I mean he plays WOW a bit too much. But small price to pay.
