Moving to another state

In my case, it would be from Vegas to Hawaii. Do you have any advice? My husbands retired and im a stay at home mom to my 21 month old son. My husband lived in hawaii when he was young........ im a little scared and excited. I know how expensive in Hawaii is but my husband is okay with it and thinks that house prices will go down due to pandemic. He is smart and done researches so i trust him but im just scared moving to another state ive never really been at all
