What formula is best for newborn ?

I plan to breastfeed but since ill be going back to work and i dont have a breast pump i want to have formula ready. Im a ftm and have no clue what formula is best for a newborn baby. Thanks!☺

If you live in the U.S. and have insurance, you qualify for a free breast pump through insurance.  With how costly formula is, even if you dont wualify for a free breadt pump you may want to consider purchasung a pump & supplies if you do want to breastfeed/pump. Just some things yo consider. But formula is certainly an option!

Like a previous comment said if you have insurance they can give you a breast pump. Also if you apply for WIC they give you formula as well. It’s such a huge help. The one they qualify for is similac and tbh I love it because before I gave my daughter similac I was giving her enfamil and that gave her a lot of spit up

I used baby’s only organic formula when I transitioned from breast feeding to formula. I liked it bc it’s supposedly the closest formula to breast milk, my son even had breast milk poops if you know what I mean lol

I use Gerber soothe formula it helps some with colic. I will use the same kind for this baby as well, as long as his tummy agrees!
