I thought this was kinda funny. For various reasons it was only possible I got pregnant on a single date (no sex for a week prior or two weeks after due to general pandemic grumpiness) ...it’s actually pretty amazing because I didn’t think I was that close to ovulating. Anyway, I had a high degree of confidence around the conception date.

Go in for scan. Baby measures *exactly* to the day of the EDD based on conception. It is pretty wild that the growth process can be this consistent, and we have the technology to measure so early with precision. I mean I guess that’s the whole point but it always seems like a “general guideline” with wiggle room +/- a week or more.

So if you were wondering what the EDD for a baby conceived on Christmas is, I can confirm it is 9/17. 😂
