Wetter you went though your hospital and they submitted for you or you did it yourself; how long did the overall process take from submitting/submission to receiving.

During covid 2020 or 2021

Please share your experiences.

Personally have become extremely frustrated it’s been over a year for me due the hospital misplaced or lost our submission we entrusted and pay them to do and was not informed of the mishap til I personally call and asked both the hospital and My local And federal SSC office of the matter. Which was followed by numerous rejection and Re submission due misinformation from the SSC office members from 3! Separate phone calls for exact submission instructions all them had misinformed me which resulted in missing information on the application and resubmitting.

In the end upon the 3rd attempt I end up submitting more information then need to avoid the future and further rejection.

Here I am now clearly it worked because it has not came back in the mail like the other attempts had but now it has been 3months and counting.

I submitted this last attempt right before nov 2020’s thanksgiving weekend, I understand between the holidays and covid shutdown and mail delays from everything to covid to the election had an impact on my current submission and process as well delivery.

Anyone else having abnormal waits for something similar?

Ps. I had to include a lot of personal proof of existence for myself which has now been stressful waiting for them to comeback since the government need the original copies understandably so but our local SSC has been closed to the public/walk-in and doesn’t pick up the phone for appointment making which they claim you can do.

Been debating about calling the federal SSC to check on the status
