When to see the GP

Hi my son James won’t be taking the vaccinations he is exceptionally healthy boy I was just wondering when does he need a gp overall check up?

If your talking baby then at 6 weeks... but being healthy is not a reason to not vaccinate 🙄 absolutely not here to argue about vaccines and if you choose not to then that's your choice (I don't agree 🙄) but the reasoning 'he is exceptionally healthy' is not a valid reason 🙄

He’s exceptionally healthy now til someone gives him whooping cough, measles, or any other nasty VPD we vaccinate against. Idk how you can go through 9 months of growing your child, a painful labor, just to not keep them safe in as many ways as you possibly can. It’s negligent.!

You are putting your child at risk for things that could be easily prevented by a vaccine.

Vaccines are to protect a baby from getting sick. Vaccines are for healthy babies. Either way we had 2 week, 2 month and 4 month check up to check weight.

I know you’re not looking for an argument, but please vaccinate your child. It’s to KEEP him healthy and also those other kids who are too young, or have compromised immune systems.

I would call and ask. But also, I’ve heard some peds don’t accept patients who haven’t/ don’t plan to be vaccinated. I know some won’t even do delayed vaccine schedules. So definitely call to check! Also, like everyone else is saying, vaccines are to keep your little babe safe & healthy 😊❤️.

You should have already been in communication with a physician. Also, he may be healthy now, but I wouldn’t care to see the outcome of of his health when he is exposed to preventable disease while unvaccinated. Best of luck with the burial 🥴

Just call. Also, don’t be surprised if a doctor won’t take your child due to no vaccines. A lot won’t.

I’d still take him in for checkups. In some places not going in for the annual checkups, whether taking vaccines or not, can get you called in to DHS or CPS for negligence.

Check ups aren’t just for vaccinations so I imagine he needs to be seen on the same schedule as a vaccinated baby.
