Thought I would share what I have packed so far (dependant on weather) for myself and baby.. I'm about 95% sure I'll be having another c-section so this is for a 2-3 night stay.

For myself I have 2 L&D gowns to wear after delivery. Last time I wore the hospital gown until I could shower and then changed into my own. Nursing tank and loose pj pants plus a lightweight cardigan to throw on top if I can walk the halls afterwards. Going home outfit- loose sweats that I can pull up higher than my incision, nursing bra, nursing shirt. Fun mask for delivery. Hair towel. Boppy. Toiletries- shampoo & conditioner, bodywash, lotion, soap (that's actually for my hubs), washcloths, deodorant, hair ties.

For my son: for picture purposes 2 swaddles, hat and gown, letter board (pre done so all I have to add is date, time, and the numbers for length and weight). I have his health records book for just in case notes to remember when we see his pediatrician after we leave the hospital. 3 outfits for going home weather dependant on which one we'll use. I'll probably pick a different bag that zips to put his stuff in and bring the other bag to stash diapers and whatnot in from the hospital.

I have a list made of stuff I still need to grab before we leave but it's mostly stuff I use regularly and don't have extras of. I'll probably throw a jacket in too but weather is so fickle where I live there's a good chance I won't need it.
