Did you get any wisdom teeth 🦷

Mine started coming through at 19 and I’m 25 they are still causing me problems. I actually have 4 wisdom teeth but 2 of them are only half developed. Does this carry on throughout life or can it stop ??

I’m 28 and I would say mine fully all came in around 25-26. They go through stages where they move and can be painful and stages where they’re completely dormant. 
I have more than enough room for all four of mine and then some room. They’re completely straight too, so I never had them removed. 
My dentist only recommended removal to “get rid of the pain,” but I never experienced any pain, just pressure.

Mine where excised out before they had a chance to come in. I did not have space for them to come in and it would have ruined my years (5th through 11th grade) in braces and other orthodontic work!

Yes.. I got mine pulled at 30 it was awful. Bottom 2 needed cut out. They would hurt every so often and the top 2 were out so my front teeth started to get crooked from the pushing and crowding. Get them out if you can! The younger the better.

I’m 42 years old & only ever had 3 grow, one of them came in sideways when I was around 19 & it caused a painful infection. Once the infection cleared up I got both of the wisdom teeth on that side removed. I’m pretty sure I still have the 3rd wisdom tooth, although my dentist at the time wanted me to get rid of it too, I decided not to because of the cost (I didn’t have dental coverage at that point) & because I wasn’t having any pain issues with it. I just can’t remember if a later dentist did end up removing it or not.

Mine started coming out at 18-19ish... dentist recommended removal... I didnt... come a couple years later, they kept coming out, and 2 of my back molars broke from the pressure of the wisdoms attempting to come out. So I scheduled surgery and got all 4 removed. When I saw my xray, I saw how huge the wisdoms were and how they were growing diagonally because they had no where to go. I wish I took them out sooner than later because they also shifted my teeth and made some of my front teeth crooked

Most people end up having to have them removed. I had all 4 taken out bc I have a small mouth/jaw. My partner still has his, but is scheduled to have them removed this month actually bc they’re pushing all of his teeth together! Your dentist should be able to give you a recommendation on what you’ll need to, and when!
