when’s your LOs witching hour?

Question

For the life of me I can’t do anything from 8pm-11pm because she’s so upset during that time??? 
I’ve tried switching the routine up, swaddling/unswaddling/feeding her in a dark room. 
If she does fall asleep the second I put her down in her bassinet she wakes up and stays awake for another hour...she’s mostly fussing at the breast during this time also. 
Maybe reflux??? I’m so confused and tired.

My daughter is doing the same exact thing! From about 6pm to 10pm she is incredibly fussy. All I can do is pace in circles bouncing her while holding her swaddled and upright against my chest. Anything else and she screams relentlessly. I can't put her down. I can't sit and bounce. I can't give her to someone else. She is only content in my arms, constantly walking and bouncing. 
When she finally falls asleep, I put her down and within 1 to 5 minutes she is fussy again. Cue another 20 minutes of walking/bouncing and then try again. It takes 4 to 5 attempts before she actually stays down. What a sweet relief when age finally sleeps for real haha. 
She is my 3rd baby and all my babies went through this! Its normal and it will pass.

My boy 11w does this every night without fail 5pm-9:30pm I just breastfeed on demand and tag team swaying rocking and bouncing with my husband to give each other breaks. We play on the floor, tummy time etc. The first week when it started we were so frustrated from trying to put him to sleep with no success, so now we just expect him to be awake during that time and plan around it. I try to have dinner sorted before then, we bath him during that time. It’s also a good time for me to get some exercise and take him for a walk in the front pack or stroller, He’ll often sleep when I do that (until we get back home). I noticed once I stopped trying to get him to sleep during that time stress levels went down for everyone. Just ride it out. We’re lucky, once he’s finally down for the night (around 9:30-10) he stays down till at least 5:30am. Such a good boy

I had the same issue with my son, although he is formula fed. He would be up from 11:30-2:30 every night. Was only fussy when we would try to put him down to sleep. We ended up having to switch his formula which helped immensely. We also try to keep him awake a little longer around 7-8pm so he’s ready to sleep around 10-11pm.
If you are concerned you can speak with your pediatrician and see if they have recommendations.
