My son called me crying saying he really wants to come home because of what this nurse did. I will get a lot of judgment for this but my son is at a behavioral place. It's kind of like a boys home, but he will be going to school there and stuff. He has had a lot of behavioral issues and my mom's friends recommend this place. My son had a physical there and part of the boys physical is that they nurse puts there testicles in their hand and the boy coughs. I think its supposed to check for cancer. My son was molested a few years back and he told the nurse he wasn't comfortable doing that. She kept hounding him about it until he finally told her why and he said she didn't care and yelled at him until he let her. He ended up having a panic attack and called me crying about it. I called the place and they said it's protocol that they do that check. Pretty much that the nurse did nothing wrong, but I've asked people and they said they can't force him to perform that and that they I should take him out of there.... I thought I was making the right choice to help with his behavior and now that this happened I feel like I'm failing... I have been trying so hard I really have. I know I may seem like a bad mom for sending him there but it was not ny first choice and I really thought based on what my mom's friend said that it was a good idea...
