Any tips for temping?

Soo I’m going to start temping this month as well as using OPKs. I’ve been using OPKs on their own and have been seeing my peak. However, I am unsure if I am ovulating!  
Any tips or tricks for temping??

Temps will only tell you after you’ve ovulated, which is also a great thing to know but it’s not helpful in telling when to have sex before you ovulate. 
Start checking your cervical fluid. Fertile fluid will turn white and creamy and then it’ll change to clear stretchy egg white consistency. This is extremely fertile fluid. Your body is very close to ovulation at this point. 
Do some research on this if you’re interested. I find it is extremely helpful to know. Good luck!
