I love my actual doctor but omfg the office people are terrible. I’ve been in a terrible amount of pain, I have an appt Thursday. Since yesterday they were closed I spoke to the on call nurse and she told me to rest and call back if it got worse so they could evaluate me, fair enough. I called this morning bc the pain persisted all night and I’m miserable at this point but not having consistent contractions so L&D won’t admit me. I just called to get my appointment moved up bc i was in pain. They told me I needed to talk to the advice line to see if this was cause to get my appointment moved up. Before i even told them I was in pain, she said she had an opening but after talking to the nurse she said no that if my pain gets worse yet again and I have consistent contractions to go to L&D. Like wtf? If you have an opening why wouldn’t I be able to just go in? Why is it that if I’m in pain you can’t give the appointment but if I wasn’t I could have it? Smfh
