Dry, red, itchy, scaly skin

So recently my forehead has been super dry It looks like acne but isn’t. Anyone else have this problem and found any products that work for you. For years I’ve always used an exfoliating scrub and moisturizer. I’m about to turn 35 and have never experienced this before.

Try this nothing else on your face until it goes away. I am a esthetician and from the pictures it seems like definitely an allergic reaction to something your using. This cleanser is good for sensitive skin which is what your face is at the moment.

Are you sure that’s not an allergic reaction? Just very gentle hydrating products and stay away from exfoliation for now. Also I would suggest seeing your doctor to see if it is an allergic reaction. I’d stop the apricot scrub as well, it’s not that good and using something that harsh daily isn’t good. There’s definitely better options that aren’t even expensive.

Looks like an allergic reaction to me. I have these often because I have eczema. And for me, raw shea butter is a miracle worker. It’s made my skin clearer and it’s always glowing.
In addition, I also only use CereVe foaming facial cleanser (recommended by my derm). I’ll include my before and after below. Good luck! I would also say if it doesn’t clear up in a week or two, I would see a dermatologist.

It almost looks like possible eczema or simply just dry skin, if you have sensitive skin sometimes once the weather begins to change it can cause a reaction in your skin. What I’ve found that works best for me when this happens (my skin is ALWAYS angry and Uber sensitive) is to do as little to it as possible. I would take a break from exfoliating until it calms down, just wash your face with a super gentle cleanser (like CetaPhil) and just moisturize after, nothing else. If you really want to exfoliate, don’t use any products to do it, I would invest in one of the silicone exfoliater pads that have the little bristles on them and use that when you wash your face, but very gently and not for long. You can find them in almost any makeup or drugstore and they’re on Amazon too!

Maybe what you ate. So id say do a colon cleanse and maybe try fresh aloe to moisturize. You can even go to an herbal store and they will recommend something natural.
