C sections advice ?

Well all my fears a worries were confirmed today. Baby girl is now breech. I have a heart shaped uterus and have little likelyhood that she will be able to turn. 
Can I have some advice on csection. I should be scheduled soon

I had a really positive experience, but mine was planned as well. Honestly, I felt pretty great within a few days. Take the stool softeners, and take them for at least a month, even if you feel like you don’t need them.

I had a c-section with my first after a long 68 hour labor. Honestly the c-section wasn’t bad at all and I had a great recovery. I was up and walking as soon as they’d let me (about 12ish hours after surgery), was off all pain meds by day 4, and vacuumed our living room on day 6. Everyone’s body heals differently but my c-section was honestly no harder than my prior laparoscopic hernia repair.

I got to schedule my csection at my 36 week appointment, mine is booked for 39 weeks and 1 day. I had an emergency csection last time but I’ve heard a planned csection is a really calm, positive experience so I don’t think there’s much to worry about :)

Try not to stress too much. For me it's helpful to look into it a little so you know what to expect or have your doc walk you through it at your next appointment. Make sure you have some high waisted undies and pants you can wear above your bikini lines. Take the pain meds. It's going to hurt to stand up straight the first time you get up. Walk as much as possible afterwards. Use a pillow to hug into you when coughing/sneezing/laughing. Take your stool softeners. Use the abdominal binder if the hospital gives you one (mine did) and if not then order one. Take it easy and enjoy your baby!
