My mom is taking my dog to the vet for me tomorrow because I can't make it. She's had another seizure last week, making it her 5th one since 2018. We finally took her to the vet last year after her 3rd because we finally realized that this is just going to keep happening if we don't figure out why.

Because of Covid I wasn't allowed to go inside with her. We had to put a muzzle on her☹️ She has never bit before, but I've always been right by her and she is scared of people. I rather be safe than sorry. Tomorrow will be the same sort of deal. The vet will come out and ask a few questions then they will hand my mom the muzzle to put it on. She will then want her to the door and the vet will take her inside. The idea of her muzzled breaks my heart into pieces. I know dog years and people years are different, but she's only 6, she's my baby.

Last year the appointment was real quick. They just did the basics, said she's healthy, but to keep an eye on her. Well she's clearly not healthy and if they say that again I will be very unhappy. Their is clearly something wrong with my poor girl.

Her first one was in 2018, second 2019, 3rd and 4th 2020, and her 5th was only 5 days ago. I don't want my baby girl on medication for the rest of her life, we can't afford that. We'll try CBD oil and hope that helps. I don't even want to think about what we might have to do if nothing helps..
