So, as per my Dr I am not allowed to go to or passed my due date. Reason is an injury from an accident in addition to my age (39 this year). Which makes me high risk. I am in severe pain for over a week now and on a walker.

Well, from the beginning I did not want an induction or a c-section unless medically necessary. Now I am 38w 3d and at my check up yesterday I was not at all dilated. My Dr wants to induce next week but needs me to dilate. That said he wants me to wait 5 more days and come back on Monday when I will be 39w 1d to check me.

I asked if I could get a membrane strip if I am dilated and have two days to come into labor and then schedule an induction for the same week if I don’t and he said ok.

My question is if I do t dilate until Monday, can I get induced at all without dilation?

Anybody who had gotten an induction without dilation?

I am so so worried since I didn’t want one at all.
